Business Aviation Market Update | September 2025

The business jet market has maintained steady momentum through Q3 2025, with global deliveries up nearly 10% year-over-year and annual totals projected to exceed 820 aircraft. Buyer demand remains resilient across light and midsize categories, while renewed interest in super-mid cabin models such as the Citation Sovereign and Challenger 300/350 is driving competitive activity in that segment.

Pre-owned inventory levels have stabilized compared to last year, holding near long-term averages. Well-maintained, U.S.-based aircraft enrolled on engine programs continue to command premium offers, while unprogrammed or cosmetically dated aircraft are seeing longer marketing cycles and deeper buyer negotiations.

Looking ahead, the market is expected to remain healthy but selective. OEM backlogs and flight activity both point to continued strength, though higher financing costs and a more discerning buyer pool are making presentation and positioning more critical than ever. Sellers who enter the market strategically are best positioned to capture top-tier results.
