This remarkable 2019 Citation M2, serial number 525-1036, is available from Valor. Since its debut Sept. 2019, the like-new aircraft has had two owners.
Model 525s marketed as Cessna Citation M2 is the fourth version of the 525-CJ, then became CJ1, followed by CJ1+. The M2 out-of-production CJ1 variant features a new cabin layout and a more efficient FJ44 version with improved FJ44-1AP-21 (FADEC) turbofans offering 10 to 15% more cruise thrust. Compared to the CJ1+, it offers a more comfortable cabin and is faster by 22 ktas at FL 410. The wing is 4”inches wider due to small winglets, creating reduced drag and the aircraft burns 740 lbs per hour at 392 ktas TAS, FL 400, ISA+3C conditions. At high-speed cruise, it can fly one pilot and four passengers over 1,150 nm in 2 hrs 49 min and climbs to FL 410 in 24 min, 27% faster than the Embraer Phenom 100E. With 307units built, the M2 has become the most popular entry level light jet for Cessna-Textron.
The M2 is equipped with the NEXT-GEN Garmin G3000 avionics replacing the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21as seen in earlier model 525’s.
